Animation

3 min readUpdated 15 March 2026
Animations in Limecube add visual effects to your page elements as visitors scroll down the page. When enabled, animations apply automatically to each element. You can keep the default settings or override individual section animations for a more customised experience.

Animation Settings Overview

Animation Settings

Animation Type

Choose the type of animation effect you would like to display on each element — options include fade, slide, zoom, and more.

Direction

Control which direction on the screen the animation originates from. This allows you to create varied entrance effects across different parts of the page.

Per-Section Animations

For more visual variety, you can configure different animation styles for each section individually. This requires more setup time but creates a more engaging experience as visitors scroll through your pages.

Setting Section Animations

  1. 1Open the section settings for the section you want to customise
  2. 2Locate the 'Animation' option in the left panel
  3. 3Select your preferred animation type and direction
  4. 4Repeat for each section that requires a custom animation

Testing Your Animations

Animations trigger once as you scroll down the page. To review animations again, scroll back to the top and refresh the page. Always test the final result to ensure the effects feel comfortable for viewers and do not distract from your content.
Keep animations subtle and consistent. Overly aggressive effects can distract visitors from your content. A gentle fade or slide is usually enough to add visual interest without overwhelming the page.
