Using the Style Editor

6 min readUpdated 15 February 2026
The Style Editor gives you full control over your site's visual appearance — colours, fonts, button styles, spacing, and more. You can make site-wide changes or customise individual sections for a unique look.

Style Editor Overview

Accessing the Style Editor

Click 'Styles' in the admin bar at the top of the editor. The style panel opens on the left, showing global settings and section-specific options. You can also access styling for individual elements by clicking the style (colour wheel) icon that appears when you hover over them.

Custom Fonts

You can upload your own custom fonts via the File Manager. Supported formats are OTF, TTF, WOFF, and WOFF2. Upload them to the Custom Fonts folder, then select them from the font dropdown in the Style Editor.

Uploading Custom Fonts

  1. 1Open File Manager from the header
  2. 2Navigate to the Custom Fonts folder
  3. 3Drag and drop your font files (OTF, TTF, WOFF, or WOFF2)
  4. 4Return to the Style Editor and select your font from the dropdown

Changing Text Colours

You can change text colours in two ways: site-wide through the Style Editor for universal changes, or section-specific by editing individual sections. Site-wide changes affect all text using the default colours, while section changes only apply locally.

Mobile and Tablet Styling

After making design changes, always check how they look on mobile and tablet. Use the device view switcher in the top bar to preview different screen sizes. Some elements may need manual adjustments for smaller screens — the Style Editor includes mobile-specific options for fine-tuning.

Mobile Styling Tutorial

Choose no more than 2–3 fonts for your entire site: one for headings and one for body text. Too many fonts look unprofessional. Google Fonts (the default in Limecube) offers hundreds of high-quality, free options.
