The Colour Palette Tool lets you apply a consistent colour set across your entire Limecube website. Choose from pre-made palettes for quick selection, or create your own custom palette to match your brand.
Colour Palette Tutorial
Selecting a Colour Palette
- 1Click 'Styles' in the admin bar at the top of the editor
- 2View the colour palette options in the left panel
- 3Select from the available pre-made palettes — your site updates instantly
- 4Or click 'Edit your colour palette' to customise individual colours
Editing Individual Colours
Click any colour swatch in the palette to modify it. The editor displays HEX colour values and includes a colour wheel picker for precise selection. When you change a colour, it updates throughout your entire site wherever that palette colour is used.
Use Adobe's free colour tool at color.adobe.com to create harmonious colour combinations. Choose a colour harmony type (complementary, analogous, triadic) and copy the HEX values into Limecube.
Colour Palette and Sections
Individual sections on your page can use different colour variations from your palette. When editing a section, you'll see palette options that let you quickly switch between light and dark versions, or apply accent colours to specific areas.
Stick to 3–5 colours maximum for a professional look. Too many colours can make your site feel chaotic. Use your primary brand colour for buttons and calls-to-action, and neutral colours for backgrounds and text.
