Limecube offers several ways to display images on your website. Each gallery type presents your images in a unique way — helping you showcase your work, products, or brand imagery while increasing audience engagement.
Gallery Types
Banner / Slider Gallery
A full-width rotating image slider, perfect for hero sections and showcasing key messages. Each slide can include text overlays and call-to-action buttons. Configure autoplay speed, transition effects, and navigation arrows.
Grid Gallery
Display multiple images in a responsive grid layout. Great for portfolios, product catalogues, and photo galleries. Images can be set to open in a lightbox when clicked, and you can customise the number of columns and spacing.
Before and After Slider
An interactive slider that lets visitors drag between two images — ideal for showcasing transformations, renovations, or design comparisons. Upload a 'before' and 'after' image and the slider handles the rest.
Image Element
A single image element for placing individual photos, illustrations, or graphics anywhere on your page. Supports links, alt text for accessibility, and responsive sizing.
Adding a Gallery to Your Page
- 1Click '+Add Element' in the page header bar
- 2Find the gallery type you want (Banner/Slider, Grid Gallery, etc.)
- 3Drag it to your desired page location
- 4Click the element to upload images and configure settings
- 5Save your page
Optimise your images before uploading. Large image files slow down page loading. Aim for images under 500KB — use JPEG for photos and PNG for graphics with transparency. Limecube compresses images automatically, but starting with optimised files gives the best results.
