Tables can be added within content elements and boxes to display structured data such as pricing, specifications, schedules, and comparisons. Limecube inherently styles tables to follow best practice, so you may wish to leave the default settings in most cases.
Adding a Table
- 1Open a content element in edit mode
- 2Click the 'Table' button in the toolbar
- 3Select the number of rows and columns from the grid
- 4The table is inserted at the cursor position
- 5Click into each cell to add your content
Table Properties
Table properties allow you to control display aspects such as border width, cell spacing, cell padding, and overall table width. Limecube applies sensible defaults, so only adjust these settings if you need a specific look.
Cell and Row Properties
Column widths are distributed equally by default. To adjust individual column widths, place your cursor in the desired cell, select Table > Cell > Cell Properties, and modify the width value. Ensure the total of all column widths does not exceed 100% to maintain proper layout.
Managing Columns and Rows
- 1Place your cursor inside the table where you want to add or remove content
- 2Select Table from the toolbar, then choose Column or Row
- 3Choose to insert before, insert after, or delete the selected column or row
Table Styles
Table style colours are derived from the text colour set in your colour scheme for that section, or the text colour set manually in the section settings. This ensures tables integrate seamlessly with the surrounding content without requiring manual colour adjustments.
Tables remain mobile-responsive unless the content exceeds the viewport width. Keep cell content concise and avoid overly wide tables to ensure they display well on all devices.
