Overview
The Coming Soon feature lets you display a holding page to visitors while your website is under construction. This requires an active domain connected to your Limecube site.
Creating the Coming Soon Page#
Steps to Create and Publish the Page
- 1Check if your navigation menu already has a 'Coming Soon' page
- 2If it does not exist, create a new page
- 3Set the page URL to exactly 'coming-soon'
- 4Publish the page before saving
- 5Activate the feature through your site settings (see below)
Activating the Coming Soon Page#
Steps to Activate in Settings
- 1Navigate to 'More > Administration > Settings' in the admin menu on the left
- 2Open the 'Miscellaneous' tab
- 3Enable the Coming Soon checkbox
- 4Save your settings
Disabling the Coming Soon Page#
Steps to Deactivate
- 1Return to Settings and turn off the Coming Soon feature
- 2Unpublish the coming soon page to prevent search engines from indexing it
Customise your coming soon page with clear messaging and an attractive design. Consider adding a form to collect visitor email addresses and build anticipation before your launch.
Monitor your site's progress and update the coming soon page regularly with new information or launch dates to keep visitors engaged.
