Domain Central — DNS Settings

These instructions apply only when your domain uses Domain Central's default nameservers. If you are using third-party nameservers, you must update DNS records through your nameserver provider's DNS manager instead.

Pointing Your Domain

Update DNS Records in Domain Central

  1. 1Log in to Domain Central and navigate to 'Domains > My Domains' from the top menu
  2. 2Locate your domain in the list and click the edit button on the right
  3. 3Select 'Add Record' or modify an existing entry
  4. 4Create an A record with your domain name in the Name field and <code>35.197.188.96</code> in the Address field, then confirm
  5. 5Add a second A record using the www version of your domain with the same IP address <code>35.197.188.96</code>
  6. 6If existing A records point elsewhere, replace those IP addresses with <code>35.197.188.96</code>
  7. 7Verify the final DNS settings display both records correctly

Time Delay

Changes may take 1–24 hours to propagate across the internet. During this period, some visitors may see the new site while others still see the old version.
