Overview
Limecube allows you to integrate your website with various tracking codes such as Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, chatbots, live chat, and other scripts. Adding code in one central location makes it function across all pages on your site.
Make sure you copy the complete code when adding it into Limecube. Adding only partial code can break your pages.
Integrating Google Analytics
Steps to Add Google Analytics
- 1Sign up for a Google Analytics account at analytics.google.com
- 2Find and copy your unique Google Analytics tracking ID
- 3In Limecube, go to More > 'SEO Manager' on the top menu
- 4Select the second tab: 'Analytics and code injection'
- 5Add your Google Analytics tracking ID in the 'Before </head>' field
- 6Activate it and click Save
Code Injection Fields Explained
Before </head>
Typically used for Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager. Other tracking platforms may also require code in the head tag.
After <body>
This opening body tag is often used for Google Tag Manager's secondary snippet.
Before </body>
Use this field when the provider's instructions say to place code before the closing body tag or at the end of the body.
Test your site very carefully after inserting any code, as incorrect scripts can break your pages.
Facebook Pixel
Steps to Add Facebook Pixel
- 1Go to 'SEO Manager' on the header menu
- 2Select the first tab: 'Tracking code'
- 3Add your Facebook Pixel tracking ID in the head tag field
- 4Click Save
Other Scripts
Common script types you can add include: chatbots, Google Ads remarketing tags, Google Tag Manager containers, call tracking scripts, heatmaps, and third-party widgets (Live Chat, HubSpot, Calendly, etc.). Each provider will have instructions on their website explaining which field to use.
Steps to Add Any Third-Party Script
- 1Find and copy the script from the third-party provider
- 2Go to More > 'SEO Manager' on the top menu
- 3Select the first tab: 'Tracking code'
- 4Add the script into one of the three fields as per the provider's instructions
- 5Click Save
WhatsApp Integration
Limecube provides a WhatsApp code snippet that should be pasted into the 'Before </body>' section of the Analytics and code injection tab. Replace the placeholder with your WhatsApp number including the country code (without the + symbol).
Copy and paste the entire WhatsApp code carefully — missing any part of it may break your website. Once added, you should see a floating WhatsApp icon on the bottom right of your site. Click it to verify it connects to your phone number.
