The Integrations element allows you to embed a variety of third-party platforms and services directly into your website pages. Choose from pre-built integration options or use custom code to embed virtually anything.
Adding an Integration
- 1Click '+Add Element' in the page header bar
- 2Drag the Integrations icon to your desired location on the page
- 3Select the integration engine from the dropdown menu
- 4Paste the embed code provided by the third-party platform
- 5Click 'Apply' to save
Custom Code
Custom code can be used for adding an embed code that is not listed in the integrations dropdown, or where an integration requires custom configuration. Select 'Custom Code' from the dropdown and paste the full embed code into the field.
Test custom code carefully after inserting it. Code that is not properly formed or is incomplete can break your page layout. Always preview the page before publishing to verify the integration works as expected.
YouTube / Vimeo
Both YouTube and Vimeo videos can be added via their share link. Videos display responsively and support thumbnail-only display options. For more video options, see the dedicated video element article.
HubSpot / Mailchimp
Embed sign-up forms and marketing tools from HubSpot or Mailchimp by generating the form embed code from within your HubSpot or Mailchimp account, then pasting it into the Limecube Integrations element.
Shopify
Two integration approaches are available: use the Shopify Buy Button to display individual products on your Limecube pages, or run a standalone Shopify store and link to it from your main website. The Buy Button option lets you sell directly without visitors leaving your site.
Other Platforms
Additional pre-built integrations include Ecwid, Zapier, Google Sheets, ActiveCampaign, JobAdder, Guru Dental, and more. Each follows the same pattern — generate an embed code from the third-party platform and paste it into the Integrations element in Limecube.
Integration Types
There are two types of third-party integrations in Limecube:
- 1<strong>Direct-to-page</strong> — Embed code is placed into a content element on a specific page using the Integrations element. This is ideal for widgets, forms, and content that should appear in a particular location on your site (e.g. a Shopify Buy Button or Mailchimp sign-up form).
- 2<strong>Site-wide</strong> — Code is injected via More > Administration > Settings > Code Injection. This is used for scripts that need to run across all pages, such as analytics tracking codes, chat widgets, or global marketing pixels.
If your preferred platform is not in the dropdown list, the Custom Code option will work for any service that provides an HTML embed snippet. Check the platform's documentation for their embed or widget code.
