What Is the Bulk Meta Upload Tool?
The Bulk Meta Upload tool under the 'SEO Manager' simplifies SEO management by allowing bulk editing of meta titles and descriptions. Managing tags in bulk provides a holistic view of your site-wide metadata and simplifies updates. You can also share the bulk meta file with collaborators without granting admin access.
This feature is available only on the Business plan.
Where to Access the Tool
On the top menu, go to: More > SEO Manager > Bulk Meta Upload tab.
Option 1 — Manual Bulk Management
If you are comfortable writing meta tags, you can manage them manually via CSV.
Steps for Manual Bulk Upload
- 1<strong>Download current data</strong> — always download the latest data before making changes
- 2<strong>Update the CSV file</strong> — do not change columns A (Database ID), B (Name), or C (URL). Update columns D and E for Meta Title and Meta Description.
- 3<strong>Upload the file</strong> — save and upload using the 'Upload Meta Data File' button. The confirmation message will indicate how many rows were updated or if errors occurred.
Option 2 — Generate with AI
Limecube's AI Meta Writer generates meta tags automatically, which is ideal if you are unsure how to write effective tags or want to save time.
AI Settings
Located at the bottom of the left-hand column, the AI Settings tab lets you provide context for the AI: business name, industry, description, tone, goal, SEO keyword list, key messages, target audience, and key benefits.
Steps for AI Generation
- 1Configure the AI Settings tab with your business details and keyword list
- 2Click 'Generate with AI' to process all your pages
- 3Click 'View AI Result' on the right of each page row to see the generated options
- 4In the popup, review the three AI-generated variations for each page. Select your preferred option by clicking the circle next to it.
- 5Optionally enter a primary keyword if you have a specific term for the Meta Title
- 6Adjust the Meta Title and Description to fit character limits if needed
- 7Click 'Save All' to apply your changes
The AI generation feature includes three free runs per month on the Business plan. Each run records all results so you can compare previous generations.
Testing Your Changes
Spot-check a few pages in the page editor under SEO Settings to confirm the Meta Title and Description fields match the values from your CSV or AI generation.
