Email Setup

4 min readUpdated 5 April 2026
Custom email addresses that reflect your website and business name build a degree of professionalism and trust with customers. For example, using hello@yourbusiness.com looks far more credible than a generic Gmail or Outlook address. Limecube does not provide email hosting, but we recommend two leading providers below.

Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) is the best choice if your team already uses Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, or if your workplace relies on Outlook for email and calendar management. It includes Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and the full Office desktop apps depending on your plan.
Choose Microsoft 365 if: you need desktop versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; your team uses Outlook or Teams; or you work in an industry where Microsoft Office compatibility is standard (e.g. accounting, legal, healthcare).

Google Workspace

Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) is the best choice if your team primarily works in a browser or on mobile, or if you already use Google tools like Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, or Google Meet. It is generally simpler to set up and manage than Microsoft 365.
Choose Google Workspace if: you prefer browser-based tools over desktop apps; you already use Gmail and Google Drive; your team is small or remote; or you want an easier setup experience.

Side-by-Side Comparison

Both providers offer step-by-step guides for connecting your domain after signing up. You will need to update the MX records in your domain's DNS settings — these records tell email servers where to deliver messages sent to your domain.
