Broken Link Checker

3 min readUpdated 1 March 2026
The Link Checker scans your site to find any broken links. Broken links are bad for both usability and SEO rankings — too many broken links within your site can damage your search engine performance.

Where to Find This Tool

Navigate to More > SEO Manager > Broken Link Checker tab in the top menu when logged in.

Link Checker Tutorial

  1. 1Click the 'Check Links' button to start the scan
  2. 2Wait for the Link Checker to complete — it can sit in a queue for up to 5 minutes before scanning begins
  3. 3A progress bar displays the percentage complete once scanning starts
  4. 4When finished, results display below on the page
For large sites, you do not need to wait around — an email will be sent to you when the scan is complete.

Understanding the Results

A summary of broken links displays grouped by page. Clicking each page expands it to show all broken links within that page. An 'Error code 404' indicates a broken link.

Actions Available

  1. 1Click the eye icon to view the front end of your site for that page
  2. 2Click the edit icon to open the page in admin mode for quick fixes
After fixing broken links, consider setting up 301 redirects for any pages you have permanently removed. Check the SEO Dashboard to monitor your overall link health.
