URL paths play an important role in creating search-friendly pages and their ranking. A URL path refers to the address of a specific page — for example, a page titled 'Contact Us' generates the path www.yourwebsite.com/contact-us.
Limecube automatically generates URL paths based on your page titles. The platform's SEO Module allows you to modify URL path structures at any time. Limecube only allows case-sensitive URLs to prevent duplicate content penalties.
How to Edit Your URL Path
- 1Select the page that needs a URL path change
- 2Click the Settings Icon on the page's Header Bar
- 3Edit the Page URL, using dashes (-) instead of spaces
- 4The system displays whether you are within recommended URL length limits
- 5Apply your changes
- 6Save
Include a keyword in your URL if it accurately describes the page content. Keep URL paths short and memorable to make it easier for visitors to find your page.
If you change a URL path on an established page, set up a 301 redirect from the old URL to the new one to preserve your search engine rankings.
