Keyword Research Tool

5 min readUpdated 1 March 2026
The Keyword Research Tool is designed to help you identify the right keywords for SEO by targeting search terms your potential customers actually use. Business owners often misjudge keyword choices because consumer search behaviour frequently differs from industry terminology.

How to Access

Navigate to SEO Manager via More in the top Page Editor menu, then select Keyword Research Tool in the left sidebar.
  1. 1Enter a keyword related to your business
  2. 2Set a location (suburb, city, or country) via the dropdown
  3. 3Click Search to generate results

Step 2: Understanding the Results

The results table displays Keywords, Category, Page Mapping, Average Monthly Searches, and Competition metrics. Use these to guide your keyword strategy:

Keyword Selection Guidance

  1. 1New websites — prioritise lower-competition keywords to gain traction
  2. 2Blog traffic — seek informational keywords that answer customer questions
  3. 3Sales and leads — emphasise location-based intent keywords

Step 3: Grouping Keywords into Categories

  1. 1Select multiple keywords using the checkboxes
  2. 2Use the Bulk Action Category section on the right
  3. 3Click Add Category if you need a new group
  4. 4Click Apply to save your selections

Step 4: Mapping Keywords to Pages

  1. 1Click the Categories tab to review grouped keywords
  2. 2Use the Page Mapping dropdown to associate keywords with specific website pages
Page Mapping does not automatically push keywords into your website pages. This feature helps organise your SEO strategy by aligning keywords with specific pages — you still need to add them to your content manually.
Think like your customer and avoid relying solely on industry jargon. Use a mix of transactional and informational keywords, and review your keyword strategy periodically as search trends change.
