The Keyword Density Checker is an SEO tool that measures how many times a keyword is used on a page within your site. This helps indicate whether a keyword receives adequate emphasis or excessive repetition.
This feature is only available on Business plans.
Where to Find This Tool
Navigate to More > SEO Manager > Keyword Density Checker tab from the top menu when logged in.
How to Use the Keyword Density Tool
- 1Enter the complete URL (domain and page path) of the page you want to analyse
- 2Enter the specific keyword you want to check
- 3Click 'Go' to run the analysis
What Is the Correct Keyword Density?
While keyword density remains useful as a general indicator, it should not be your main SEO focus. Google has not heavily weighted keyword density as a ranking factor since 2014. However, the tool is still helpful for assessing whether a keyword receives adequate emphasis on a page or whether you may be over-using it.
Focus on writing natural, high-quality content rather than targeting a specific keyword percentage. For more guidance on choosing and using keywords effectively, see our Keywords for SEO article.
