Introduction

This SEO checklist is designed to help Limecube users improve their website's visibility in search engines, especially those with little to no experience with SEO.

1. Keyword Research

Keyword Research Tasks

  1. 1Identify primary keywords using tools like Google Keyword Planner or Ubersuggest
  2. 2Focus on long-tail keywords — more specific phrases like 'best coffee shop in Sydney'
  3. 3Integrate keywords naturally into your content, headings, and metadata without overstuffing

2. On-Page SEO

On-Page SEO Tasks

  1. 1<strong>Title tags</strong> — ensure each page has a unique title tag that includes your primary keyword. Learn how to <a href="/support/kb/meta-titles-and-meta-descriptions">edit meta titles</a>.
  2. 2<strong>Meta descriptions</strong> — write compelling meta descriptions of 155–160 characters
  3. 3<strong>Headings</strong> — use H1 for the main title and H2/H3 for subheadings to structure your content
  4. 4<strong>Content quality</strong> — aim for at least 300 words on less important pages, and 500+ words on key pages
  5. 5<strong>Internal linking</strong> — <a href="/support/kb/creating-internal-external-and-anchor-links">link to other relevant pages</a> on your website
  6. 6<strong>Image alt text</strong> — add descriptive alt text to all <a href="/support/kb/adding-and-editing-images-and-files">images</a>, including keywords where relevant

Start with the highest-impact items first: meta titles, Google My Business, and Google Search Console. These three tasks alone can significantly improve your visibility.
