Settings Page

6 min readUpdated 1 March 2026
The Settings page contains site-wide settings that do not fit in the page editor area. Access it via More > Administration > Settings. This article covers each section within the settings page.

Forms / Email

Configure SMTP settings for form email delivery. This ensures form submissions are sent reliably from your website to your inbox.

API Credentials

Set your Google Map API Key here. Low-traffic sites use Limecube's shared key, but sites exceeding 1,000 daily page views should generate their own Google Map API Key.

Social

Configure your social media buttons and links. For a detailed walkthrough, see Creating Social Media Buttons.

Date and Time Settings

Customise your time zone (based on city), date format, and time format. These settings affect how dates and times display throughout your site, including blog posts.

Notification Bar and Popup Manager

Configure your notification bar and Popup Manager settings from these tabs. The popup manager allows site-wide popups including mandatory terms acceptance.

GDPR — Privacy Notification Bar

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a European Union regulation on information privacy. This section lets you enable a privacy notification bar for visitors regarding cookie acceptance. Access it via More > Administration > Settings > GDPR.

GDPR Settings

  1. 1Enable/Disable checkbox for the notification bar
  2. 2Message text field — enter your own custom cookie consent message
  3. 3Enable Privacy Policy link — adds a 'Privacy Policy' link (requires full URL)
  4. 4Google Analytics ID — allows removal of analytics tracking when visitors reject cookies

Security

Configure reCAPTCHA form spam protection and view IP restrictions. During trial periods, Limecube limits access to 50 IP addresses to reduce abuse.

Miscellaneous

Access via More > Administration > Settings > Miscellaneous tab. Options include:
  1. 1Show Breadcrumbs — enable breadcrumbs beneath the header (requires breadcrumbs section to be enabled first)
  2. 2Copyright — remove the 'Powered by Limecube' footer text
  3. 3Image Protection — disable right-clicking to reduce image downloads (note: advanced users may still find other methods)
Please consider keeping 'Powered by Limecube' visible — as a small Australian startup, this helps expand brand awareness.

Mobile Call to Action

The Mobile Call to Action is a floating button that appears on mobile devices, providing visitors with a prominent, always-visible action button. This feature is available on the Business plan.

Configuring Mobile Call to Action

  1. 1Navigate to More > Administration > Settings > Mobile Call to Action
  2. 2Enable the floating button toggle
  3. 3Choose the action type: phone number, link, or custom action
  4. 4Enter the relevant details (e.g. phone number to call, URL to open)
  5. 5Customise the button appearance including icon and colour
  6. 6Save your changes and preview on a mobile device to verify
The Mobile Call to Action button is only visible to visitors browsing on mobile devices. Use the mobile preview in the page editor to see how it appears.

Blog Settings

Set your default blog summary image, which appears on the blog summary page when a specific image is not uploaded for a post.
